I recently shot a commercial shoot for www.ivyandA.etsy.com. Stephanie (store owner) is such a great person …with an eye for design, and mad sewing skills.

I want to stop and take a few minutes to tell you all about a courageous and brave little girl I met this Fall. Meet Jasmine! Isn’t she just beautiful!!
Jasmine was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) when she was just 3 years old. Now at almost 6 years old …Jasmine is finally done with treatment. NO more visits to Minneapolis Children’s ….no more pokes…no more port………….. and best of all …no more icky medication to swallow everyday. I can’t tell you how excited I was for this family! When I heard she was having a celebration…I had to do something. After talking it over with mom …I decided to do a complimentary mini photo session with JUST JASMINE ….not only celebrate her termendous courage /new look …but to celebrate the end to such a YUCKY road. AND let me tell you ………I have NEVER had more fun with such a free spirited little girl.
I truly feel blessed to have been able to meet such a BRAVE and courageous little girl. It gives our family hope that in 1.5 years, we too will be able to celebrate that VERY same thing. CANCER FREE! CHEMO FREE!

I can not tell you how swamped I have been lately……. between school starting, lots of sick kids, volunteering for NILMDTS, fall family sessions and my typical crazy busy maternity and newborn sessions …..I have been beside myself to say the least. THANKFUL regardless that I have so much work ….but really slacking in updating my blog/site. So PLEASE forgive me as I do a bit of catching up!
